Undergraduate and High School Internship Opportunities at Friends of Minidoka

Discover the power of standing up against injustice and discrimination this summer through the eye-opening experience of Friends of Minidoka High School or Undergraduate Internship.

Dive into the past as you explore the stories of courageous individuals who challenged unjust legal policies in the courtroom and through acts of protest. Uncover the resilience of resistance that shaped American identity, and explore the legal implications of these battles for citizenship and civil rights.

As an intern for Friends of Minidoka, you will engage in research on themes of resistance, citizenship, and legal implications within the context of Japanese American history. From studying the harrowing experiences of the Minidoka draft resisters to shedding light on the often overlooked Minidoka Mothers Society, you will gain an understanding of this pivotal moment in history.

Friends of Minidoka is accepting applications for our Summer 2024 internships until April 29, 2024.

Seize this opportunity to grow and learn as you contribute to preserving and sharing these vital lessons of the past. Learn more about the High School or Undergraduate Internships by clicking on the descriptions below.
