2nd Annual Volunteer Day at Minidoka National Historic Site!

On May 17, Friends of Minidoka and National Park Service staff welcomed a wonderful group of volunteers to help prepare Minidoka National Historic Site for Opening Day! They cleaned, polished, swept and wrecked to the get the site looking great and visitor-ready. We are so grateful for their hard work!

Minidoka opened for the season on Friday, May 23. The visitor center will be open Fridays-Sundays through Labor Day, from 10 am to 5 pm. Ranger-guided tours will be available Saturdays and Sundays at 11 am. Tour signups are first come, first served, so arrive early to secure a spot. For more information, visit nps.gov/miin.
