Civil Liberties in Wartime Symposium, July 2006
The annual pilgrimage of former Minidoka Internment Camp internees was joined this year by the first Civil Liberties in Wartime Symposium which was held at the Fine Arts Auditorium at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls on July 6-9.
Dr. Robert Sims, professor emeritus at Boise State University, coordinated the project and was ably supported by Dr. Alan and Fran Frost; Dr. Jerry Beck; Russ Tremayne; Jim Gentry; staff of CSI; The Friends of Minidoka, The Minidoka Internment National Monument; BSU History Department; the Prescott Family; the JACL of Idaho, Utah, Washington and Oregon; Blip Printers; Idaho Humanities Council; The Turf Club; Idaho Community Foundation; and the RiverStone Community School.
